Atlantic Wharf Development

Day tickets are now available for the former syndicate only water on the outskirts of Cardiff city centre. The popular water is undergoing something of a regeneration with proper swims being constructed, allowing anglers access to the water’s edge for the first time. This process is only in its infancy but it is hoped there will be 15 double swims by the end of 2010. Day tickets are priced as follows: 1 rod - £4, 2 rods - £7 and 3 rods - |£10. Season tickets are still available for £150/year, though their numbers are limited. For further details about fishing at Atlantic Wharf visit www.atlanticwharffishing.co.uk or call Tom on 07545 209682.

Dave Magalhaes joins CC Moore

Top bait company CC Moore has announced that Dave

Magalhaes has joined its highly skilled team of consultants.

Ian Moore told Carp-Talk: “With an uncanny knack of being able to tune in to a water very quickly, Dave’s ability to get a bite when many others don’t places him alongside some very accomplished anglers who make achieving success on difficult waters look remarkably easy. His passion for sight fishing, whether floater fishing or stalking, has taught Dave to adapt his approach to achieve the best results in any given situation, promoting a flexible angling style and imagination which are rare in the carp fishing industry. His capacity to think laterally makes Dave a superb addition to the CC Moore team where his skills and knowledge will help develop new products and applications for our vast range of high quality baits.”

introducing all the on stage proceedings including bait boat racing, casting competitions with Derek Ritchie, a live slot with John Wilson and the not-to-be-missed slide show with none other than the legendary Terry Hearn.

Mean while over at the Rig & Bait Clinic you can have all your carping queries solved by the best in the business. Guest appearances daily  include, Julian Cundiff, Mike Kavanagh and again the one and only Terry Hearn!

In addition to all this the first 2,000 visitors each day will receive a Nash Tackle gift worth £10. Outside Fox will be hosting a bivvy display so you can see exactly what you get from their range of bivvies by having a proper look around them.

For a full list of event details visit www.carpinon.com

I sincerely hope to see you there. If you want to come and see either myself or Adam Snowden you can do so at the Carp-Talk stand, where we’ll be happy to answer any of your Carp-Talk related queries. I’ll leave you with a full list of main stage events and if you cannot make it to the show full details of the event will appear in a forthcoming issue of Carp-Talk.
